The IAE Journal of Research and Development (IJORED) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Adult Education (IAE) in Tanzania. The journal publishes articles, research papers and other scholarly content in the areas of science, technology, and social science.

IJORED is published in English language in both print and online versions in March and September of each year. The journal operates under a fee-free policy, with all publication costs covered by IAE.

To protect intellectual property, the journal uses a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial (CC BY-NC) license, allowing others to use, modify, and distribute the work non-commercially, provided the author is credited. Derivative works are allowed but must be non-commercial.
