The IAE Journal of Research and Development is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication of the Institute of Adult Education, a public higher-learning institution of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The IAE Journal of Research and Development (IJORED) is published by the Institute of Adult Education (IAE), a public higher-learning institution in Tanzania, East Africa, established in 1975 by Parliamentary Act No. 12.

Scope

The journal publishes articles, research papers and other scholarly content in the areas of science, technology, and social science.

Article Processing Charge

IJORED operates under a fee-free publication policy: all publishing costs are borne by the Institute of Adult Education, ensuring that authors are not charged for submission, processing, or publication.

No article processing charge (APC). Submission, peer review, editing and publication are provided at no cost to authors.

Publishing institution

The Institute of Adult Education is under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the United Republic of Tanzania. The Institute pursues its mandate through teaching, research, publications and consultancy services in adult education and related fields.
